HAMMOND - The LSU AgCenter will host the 2007 Spring Garden Day at the Hammond Research Station at 21549 Old Covington Hwy. off Highway 190. Admission is $5 per vehicle. The St. Rose Library will host a Meet Local Author event on March 10, from 11 a.m.to 12 p.m. Farrah Rochon, one of Louisiana’s new authors, will discuss the trials and tribulations of writing for publications from a young writer’s perspective.
