Spark plug - Ouch! Amber Dutreaux gave up one for the team when she was hit by a pitch. The infraction moved her to first, and pushed other Lady Tigers around the Diamond. Thanks Amber!
Helping Hand - Krysten Laque had a slamming hit that moved runners already on base, sparking some hope and enthusiasm among the girls that the game still could be won.
Needs Improvement - The girls were determined to be competitive and also physically prepared for the game, but weren’t mentally able to stay in it. Dara Fotenot said that the girls “shouldn't lay down” and need to “keep strong through the innings.”
What’s Next? - While we’re still in the pre-season, the girls will play Chapelle and then attend the Lutcher tournament.
