Parish football stars sign with Tulane and Louisiana Tech
National Signing Day for high school athletes was held on Feb. 7 at the St. Charles Parish School Board offices in Luling and was attended by family, friends, school administrators, coaches and central office workers.
Felicia Gomez, assistant superintendent of secondary schools, addressed the athletes with a special message.
Hahnville High School’s Jordan Stephany made his choice Tulane Univeristy in New Orleans, and Destrehan High School’s Josh Victorian signed with Louisiana Tech University in Ruston.

Little more than a week after officials from 14 parishes took a trip to Washington, D.C. to lobby against potential flood insurance rate hikes, some of those same officials convened with Sen. David Vitter at the home of a Bayou Gauche couple.
