Movie Shoot
Hwy 3160 between Hwy 18 and Hwy 3127 will be closed from 6am to 6pm Sunday, March 5th, for filming of the Fox pilot movie "Low Life" for their FX cable channel.
Residents and businesses on 3160 will have access from Hwy 18 through St. Charles Parish police roadblocks. The pilot stars the British actors Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard as modern day vagabonds grifting and drifting from state to state with their children and staying one step ahead of the law. The car crash stunt to be shot involves two RVs and an SUV that runs off the road into the thicket of trees and brush on the side of the road. Stunt dummies will be used so the talent will not be on-site that day. There may be driving shots on Hwy 18 also so expect delays in the vicinity. Other locations during the 3 week shoot will be in the parishes of St. James, Iberville, Jefferson and Orleans.
