Miss Little Red Church Children’s Coronation annual pageant
Sydney Poulos, Teen Miss Little Red Church Queen III and Payton Bourgeois, Miss Little Red Church Queen III.
The pageant is held in conjunction with the Little Red Church Food and Fun Fest held annually the first weekend in May.
Winners in the 2014 Miss Little Red Church Coronation Senior Divisions were Sydney Poulos, Teen Miss Little Red Church Queen III, and Payton Bourgeois, Miss Little Red Church Queen III.
Poulos is the 15-year-old daughter of Rudy and Jenny Poulos of Destrehan. She attends Destrehan High School where she is a sophomore. Along with the crown, Poulos also received the “Prettiest Hair and Eyes,” fashion awards and was voted Miss Congeniality among the contestants.
Bourgeois is the 18-year-old daughter of Kyle and Susie Bourgeois of Montz. She attends Louisiana State University where she is a freshman studying physical therapy. Bourgeois also received the “Prettiest Smile” award in her division. Poulos and Bourgeois will travel Louisiana representing the Little Red Church Food and Fun Fest at various festivals and events throughout the year.
Bourgeois will also represent the festival at the Louisiana Association of Fairs & Festivals Queen of Queens pageant in February of 2015. Candice Schmidt and Mindy Wilson were the pageant directors.
