Destrehan junior attends M.I.T. summer program

Destrehan Junior Ashlyn Frahm was chosen to participate in the 2014 Minority Introduction to Engineering & Science or ‘MITES’ Program this summer at the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ashlyn was one of 80 students selected from a pool of over 1,600 applicants.

She received a scholarship for this very prestigious six-week program and will study a variety of courses in science, technology, engineering and math.
