Punt, pass and kick
PrintMason Aucoin of Luling won first place in the 8-and 9-year-olds division of the Gatorade NFL Punt, Pass and Kick team championships held earlier in the football season during the Saints-Redskins game in the Superdome.
Mason, 9, is the son of Mike and Wendy Aucoin of Luling and represented the Saints during the competition and advanced to the championships after he won the parish contest defeating 12 other boys.
The competition allows boys and girls who won their preliminary competitions in Louisiana and Mississippi to compete in the team championsip in the Superdome.
