Neal J. Ayme, Jr., 63, of Destrehan, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, July 31.

In addition to being a wonderful father and husband, he was also an outstanding member of the community and devoted employee of First American Bank. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy Braud Ayme and his sons Adam and Aaron; son of Dorothy S. Ayme and the late Neal J. Ayme, Sr. He is also survived by his brother Kyle Ayme; sister-in-law Jan Madere and brother-in-law Gerald Madere.

The Ayme family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all family members, friends, First American Bank, and St. Charles Parish government for their overwhelming love, support and generosity during this difficult season in our lives.

Relatives and friends were invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan on Monday, Aug. 4. Interment took place at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.
