The River Parishes Hospital Auxiliary recently awarded a scholarship to Kenyetta Smith, a student at Hahnville High School, in the amount of $1,000.

Each year, the auxiliary holds fundraisers to benefit their scholarship fund.

Winners are selected based on their academic achievements, personal goals and aspirations for the future.
