Hunter education field day classes

KILLONA – The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is teaching a field day only hunter education class on Saturday, July 12 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The one day course is for individuals that have already taken an online course with the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. State law requires that all individuals born on or after Sept. 1, 1969, to obtain a hunting license prior to hunting in Louisiana. Individuals must be ten years of age or older to be certified.
