Enjoy events for adults after hours at the library

LULING – The West Regional Library will hold an after hours event on Friday, June 13 from 7 to 10 p.m.

The creators of the “Kentucky Sweets” cookbook, author Sarah Baird and illustrator Chase Chauffe, will discuss the creation of their cookbook. There will also be a Planetarium expo, book sale, refreshments and door prizes.  

Attendees must be 18 years of age or older and registration is requested.

All St. Charles Parish Library events are free of charge and open to the public. RSVP by calling the West Regional Library.

A $5 million renovation of St. Charles Catholic High School will feature a memorial to a St. Charles Parish-raised Air Force pilot killed while valiantly trying to save a woman during the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon.
