The 11-year-old St. Charles Parish All-Star team took home the championship at the Tchefuncte River Shootout, which was held in Madisonville last weekend.

The team went undefeated during the tourney, winning all four games they played.

Motorists traveling along Highway 90 last week noticed a strange site in the parking lot of Pier 90 where a number of very large metal modular units were being stored.
