•Jermaine M. Smith, 38, of 46 Honey Suckle Lane in Westwego, was arrested on June 5 and charged with burglary of a movable, burglary of an auto, resisting an officer and as a fugitive from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

•Duane C. Smith, 25, of 408 State St. in LaPlace, was arrested on June 5 and charged with burglary of a movable, auto burglary, as a fugitive from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and as a fugitive from probation.

•Chad Bettencourt, 22, of 213 Bethany Court in Luling, was arrested on June 5 and charged with three counts of burglary of a movable.

•Dorothy S. Allen, 40, of 610 E. Club Drive in St. Rose, was arrested on June 4 and charged with obtaining public assistance by fraud.

•Felix Arriaga, 28, of 114 Wanda St. in Luling, was arrested on June 4 and charged with four counts of burglary of a moveable.

•Kia L. Harris,  of 14223 LA 631 Hwy. B in Paradis, was arrested on June 4 and charged with aggravated battery, simple assault and simple criminal damage under $500.

•Renee Hebert, 37, of 210 Alice St. in Ama, was arrested on June 3 and charged with theft of goods over $1,500.

•Reginald Brown Jr., 25, of 331 Morrison Ave. in Houma, was arrested on June 3 and charged with DWI, reckless operation, possession of marijuana, possession of heroin with intent, possession of crack and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Howard McLaurin III, of 800 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling, was arrested on June 2 and charged with DWI, suspended driver’s license, disregarding a stop sign and having an open container.  

•Deville Zeringue, 37, of 835 Easy St. in New Sarpy, was arrested on May 28 and charged with possession of schedule II drugs, operating a vehicle while license was suspended, false certificate, driving a vehicle without required equipment and two counts as a fugitive from another agency.

•Alfred Mott, of 120 Helen Drive in Westwego, was arrested on May 30 and charged with DWI, passing on shoulder, driver’s license suspended and as a fugitive from another agency.

•Claude Lewis, 56, of 844 East Harding St. in New Sarpy, was arrested on June 1 and charged with DWI, MVI sticker expired, open alcohol container in vehicle and two counts of driving while intoxicated–child endangerment.

•Winston Juarez-Garcia, 44, of 1201 Lake Ave. in Metairie, was arrested on May 31 and charged with DWI, motor vehicle needs two headlamps and improper control of vehicle.

•Jazell Hensley, 28, of 129 James Lane in Des Allemands, was arrested on May 31 and charged with DWI, child endangerment, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, refusal of a chemical test, resisting an officer and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

•Ralph Borne Jr., 51, of 153 Killona Drive in Killona, was arrested on June 1 and charged with DWI 1st offense and driving roadway lane of traffic.

Thefts

•A welding machine, valued at $8,000, was stolen from 11360 La. Hwy. 48 in St. Rose on May 25.

•A laptop computer, valued at $600, was stolen from 608 Paul Fredrick St. in Luling on May 26.

•Four catalytic converters, valued at $200, were stolen from 225 1st Street in St. Rose on May 26.

•Collectable coins, valued at $100, were stolen from 153 Marino St. in Norco on June 5.

•A lawn mower, valued at $300, was stolen from 141 Dianne Drive in St. Rose on June 1.
