HHS golfer finishes 4th at state championship
Hahnville golfer Colin Troxler placed in a tie for 4th place out of 48 of Louisiana’s best golfers at the Division 1 State Golf Championship at East Ridge Country Club in Shreveport.

Troxler shot a first round of 76 and a second round of 74 for a two-day tournament total of 150, which gave him a share of the fourth spot.

Troxler expertly managed the demanding course and played a consistently smart game over 36 holes.

Troxler was a first team All-District selection for Hahnville during the season.

In the district tournament, which was held at Les Vieux Golf Club in Youngsville, Troxler helped lead the Tigers to a third-place finish. Troxler had the lowest score for the Tigers during the event, finishing with a round of 75.

Troxler qualified for the state tournament after finishing with a 76 during the regionals. Once again, Troxler had the lowest score for the Tigers, who finished sixth as a team at the event.
