Former HHS standout signs football scholarship

Former Hahnville High School linebacker Linzell Rhodes will continue his football career with Mississippi Valley State University.

Rhodes, who signed with the school on Monday, graduated from Hahnville in 2011 and went on to play football in junior college at College of the Desert, where he was a two-year starter.

Rhodes sat out the 2013 season in order to take care of his 1-year-old daughter, but he will suit up for Mississippi Valley State next season.Rhodes, from Ama, is the son of Lindsey and Shirley Rhodes.
