13th Annual Terrebonne Sportsmen’s League youth fishing tournament

MONTEGUT – The Terrebonne Sportsman’s League will hold the 13th Annual Youth Fishing Rodeo on Saturday, May 3.

This event is free to all children ages 4 to 15. All youth fishermen must be accompanied by an adult, and youths 12 years and under must wear an approved floatation device. If needed, one will be provided.

All fish must be of legal size. Participants may fish from the bank or from a boat. If fishing from a boat, they must be back by 1 p.m. in order to register before weighing their fish. Registration times are from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Trophies will be awarded to the first three places of each category. All participants will receive a cap, a t-shirt and a certificate of participation. There will be door prizes for children that register in the rodeo (must be present to win). Food and drinks will be provided free of charge.
