2nd annual Promapalooza

DESTREHAN – Destrehan High School will host its second annual Promapalooza on Sunday, April 6 immediately after prom from 1:30 to 4 a.m.

The gathering is for students and their dates to participate in an after-prom party held in the school’s gymnasium. The event includes a night of dancing, games, prizes, refreshments and much more.

To encourage participation, the event offers prizes students can use as they near completion of high school. Computer equipment, televisions, iPads, iPods, luggage, microwaves and other electronics are some of the prizes that the students can win just for attending.

Promapalooza provides students and their dates with a wholesome alternative that offers the opportunity to say “no” to the dangers of alcohol and drugs that mar so many after-prom parties. The special evening can only be made possible with the generous financial support of the community and sponsors are still needed.
