Middle-school kids toot their own horns

Seventh graders Jiah Jefferson and Hailey Champagne tooted on their clarinets with the school band as part of the citywide celebration.
Smith students, like Avery Gauthier, also created hand ornaments for the tree displays.
And seventh grader and BETA club member Kiashanti Marshall painted Jasmine Percy's face, 4, at a Season to Remember party.

Woodruff wins District II seat by 20 votes - 648 views
The runoff election for the District II council seat ended Saturday night with a very narrow margin of victory for William "Billy" Woodruff over Mary Clulee.
