Lloyd P. Cooper, 67, a native of New Orleans and resident of Bayou Gauche, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

A Memorial Celebration will be held at Fisherman’s Wharf in Bayou Gauche on March 15 at 2 p.m.

He is survived by son; Troy Roundtree; daughter, Leah G. Hecker and husband Ronnie; brothers, A.P. Cooper Jr. and Marty Cooper; sisters, Ena Mae Bordelon and husband Richard, Joyce Baronne, Debbie Cooper, Shelly Smith and husband Mike and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alben and Reba Cooper and brother, Flint Cooper.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
