NEW ORLEANS - A live performance on Civil War History will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15 from noon to 4 p.m.

In conjunction with The Historic New Orleans Collection’s current exhibition, “Occupy New Orleans! Voices from the Civil War,” living history characters Roscoe, Lee and Abadie will return to entertain visitors with songs, magic, theater and witty repartee during two more Saturday afternoon visits. The troupe’s performances and interactions with the audience provide opportunities for children and parents alike to understand this important period in New Orleans’ history.

“Occupy New Orleans!” taps the experiences of ordinary men and women to illustrate daily life during one of the most monumental periods in American history. The display, which consists of more than 100 items, includes personal correspondence and journals.

The free exhibition is available to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through March 9.
