Applications due for “Emerging Leaders” program

NEW ORLEANS - Applications for a leadership program for non-profit managers are due on Saturday, Feb. 14.

The Greater New Orleans Foundation has launched an Emerging Leaders program, which is a leadership program that seeks to help individuals be better non-profit managers.

The foundation is seeking mid-level managers who are currently working at nonprofit human service organizations to participate in the Emerging Leaders program. The selected 20 participants will learn how to manage and supervise people in a multi-cultural setting and learn financial management skills. Funded by the Kresge Foundation in partnership with the Greater New Orleans Foundation, the program will take place over eight days between May and November.
