Residents rally around life, legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
St. Charles Parish residents marched on River Road from the West Bank Bridge Park in Luling to the Eual J. Landry Alternative Program Center in Hahnville to celebrate the life and legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday.

After the march, which was a distance of more than two and a half miles, a rally was held for hundreds of community members. The rally included guest speakers, a dance performance, a piano recital and prayer.
