DHS math teacher Kailyn Brabham has been chosen the Region I LACUE High School Teacher of the Year.

LACUE, Louisiana Computer Using Educators, is an organization of educators who use technology in their classrooms to enhance the learning experience. 

LACUE is an affiliate of the International of Society of Technology Educators.  

Brabham will represent Region 1 at the state level.  Region 1 consists of St. Charles, Jefferson, Orleans, St. Bernard and Plaquemines Parish.
