A Wetlands Reveillon

DESTREHAN - A Wetlands Reveillon will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Hotel, restaurant and tourism administration students from the Satellite Center and students from the Wetland Watchers organization partner up annually to put on a Wetlands Reveillon. The semi-formal event treats guests to food cooked by the culinary students from the Satellite Center, an opportunity to socialize with other members of the community, live music by Jake Smith and chances to win special prizes in a raffle or silent auction.

An advanced ticket to this event is currently $35. If available, the ticket price at the door the day of the event will be $50. The goal of the benefit is to revive and raise awareness about Louisiana’s wetlands, so all proceeds made from this event will be donated toward that purpose. This year the event will be held a the River Room located at 13899 River Road in Luling.
