Deputy Jeff Watson benefit

DESTREHAN – A benefit for fallen Deputy Jeff Watson will be held on Dec. 6.

For eight years, Deputy Watson was devoted to protecting and serving St. Charles Parish, but on Aug. 4, while responding to a disturbance, he was involved in a fatal vehicle accident.

Deputy Watson left behind a loving family who are still in need of support. The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is hosting the benefit at the Jerusalem’s Shriner’s Hall in Destrehan, Louisiana  This fundraiser will include a silent auction, along with music by “The Soul Acoustic.” Tickets are $25 and will include food and setups. There will also be a cash bar with beer and wine.
