After reading the novel Lord of the Flies, Caitlin Mikesell, one of Deborah Unger’s English IV Academically Gifted students, created a Lord of the Flies game board and strategy cards.

Her classmates helped by creating additional game questions that related to the novel. As they played the game, the students discussed the significance of literacy facts from the novel.
