Luling man arrested, charged with killing father
A 20-year-old Luling man was arrested Friday morning after police say he shot and killed his father.

Stanley Robinson, of 1005 Kinler St. in Luling, allegedly got into a fight with his father last night, which quickly escalated. A woman, who was in the bathroom, heard the two arguing followed by gun shots, according to Capt. Pat Yoes, spokesman for the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office.

When the witness eventually came out, she discovered the body of Stanley Robinson Sr. on the ground. Robinson Sr. was pronounced dead at the scene.

Robinson Jr. is being held at the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center under a $1 million bond.
