Destrehan junior running back Will Matthews only needed a half to rush for 123 yards and four touchdowns in his team’s 63-8 victory over H.L. Bourgeois last week.
Hahnville senior running back Lynn Simmons pulled in an 84-yard touchdown reception in his team’s loss. Simmons also led the ground attack for the Tigers.
Destrehan junior cornerback Korian Reynaud played one of his best games of the year against H.L. Bourgeois, finishing with two interceptions to help his squad secure the win.
Hahnville junior defensive end Dwaine Thomas got pressure on Central Lafourche’s QB for most of the night and finished with two tackles behind the line.
