Gunmen rob Boutte card game
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for two armed gunman who robbed a card game in Boutte Estates late last night.

A group was playing cards in their home when the two armed men busted in at 11:30 p.m. Thursday night, according to Sheriff Greg Champagne. The men, who were wearing black long sleeve hoodies, black clothes and had white hockey masks covering their faces, ordered the victims to lie down and demanded the cash from the card game.

The men also made off with purses and cell phones, Champagne said.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact Det. Jody Weems at (985) 783-1135 or (985) 783-6807. Those with information can also call Crime Stoppers at 1 (877) 903-STOP.
