Breast Cancer Awareness golf benefit

LULING - The Grand Ridge Ladies Golf Association is sponsoring a Rally for the Cure golf tournament on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The tournament will provide funds for the Susan G. Komen For The Cure foundation whose goal is to save lives and end breast cancer.The event is open to everyone. The entry fee is $40 and should include $20 payable by check to Rally for the Cure, cart and buffet lunch and $20 payable to Grand Ridge Golf Club.Registration begins at 8 a.m. and tee time is 9 a.m. Early registration is welcomed. Winners will receive prizes.The format: Scramble, bogey’s you friend, shotgun start, prize for the lowest score, a drawing for a prize for 72 and under (Pink Flight) and a drawing for those over 72 (Cure Flight).Sponsors are also sought for $50 for each hole and all sponsors will be recognized at the tournament. Donations are accepted by check payable to Susan G.
