Week six players of the week
Only a sophomore, Destrehan receiver John Williams has already had several huge games. Last week was no different as he caught three passes for 119 yards and a touchdown.
Hahnville running back Todge Scott led the Tigers to a big district win over Terrebonne by rushing for 177 yards and a touchdown in torrential rain.
Destrehan defensive lineman Ed Leonard got pressure up the middle all night and helped shut down the Thibodaux running game. The Tigers were held to less than 200 yards of offense.
The Hahnville defense held Terrebonne to only seven points and defensive end Ricky Davis was a big reason why. Davis finished with a sack, four tackles for loss and an interception.
