Junior Destrehan receiver Alfred Smith had a big game against Helen Cox. Smith finished with 83 yards receiving and scored two touchdowns to help lead his team to the win.
Hahnville offensive guard Connor Maise played through a nagging knee injury and kept Rummel’s defensive line at bay while Hahnville experienced success in the running game.
Senior Destrehan linebacker RaeJuan Marbley was all over the field for Destrehan, finishing with seven tackles, two sacks and two tackles behind the line.
Hahnville linebacker Timothy Roberts was outstanding for the Tiger defense. He had an interception, a fumble recovery, half a sack and seven tackles.
