Meth lab  discovered in dog house
A 28-year-old Mobile, Ala. man was arrested and charged with creating a meth lab in St. Rose.

A warrant was issued for Stephen Blackmon in May after authorities say they discovered a meth lab inside of a dog house in the backyard of a St. Rose home.

Blackmon had since moved to Mobile, but was arrested by police in Alabama and transferred to St. Charles Parish.Blackmon was also charged with giving a false report or complaint after police say he lied about information during an interrogation.

He is being held at the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center under a $100,000 bond.
