Open casting call for family feature film

There will be an open casting call held on September 7 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Hilton-Riverside in New Orleans for a feature film that will be shot in the area.

The casting call is part of a nationwide search for spirited, interesting, smart and creative boys ages 6 through 10 who will be considered for leading roles in the upcoming Hollywood family film, “Midnight Special.”

“Midnight Special” is written and directed by award-winning director, Jeff Nichols (Mud, Take Shelter.For story reasons, the casting director is only looking for Caucasian boys at this time. Acting experience is not necessary.

The casting call will consist of a brief talk with a member of the casting team and possibly an on-camera interview. All participants should bring a non-returnable photo.
