Arrests
•Jerry A. Johnson, 40, of 117 N. Cumberland in Metairie, was arrested on Aug. 3 and charged with DWI, open container, texting while operating a motor vehicle, driver’s license not on person and disturbing the peace.

•Stacye L. Stone, 52, of 4727 Constance St. in New Orleans, was arrested on Aug. 2 and charged with DWI.•Tie L. Reese, 32, of 176 E. 14th St. in Reserve, was arrested on Aug. 2 and charged with  DWI, speeding, driving roadway lane of traffic, following vehicles too closely and driver not licensed. •James A. Hardiman, 43, of 198 Carolyn Drive in New Sarpy, was arrested on Aug. 6 and charged with second-degree battery and disturbing the peace. •Rodney J. Curole, 18, of 412 Maryland Drive in Luling, was arrested on Aug. 8 and charged with possession of marijuana and disregarding a stop sign. •Christopher M. Bourgeois, 20, of 336 River Ridge Road in Boutte, was arrested on Aug. 8 and charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to sell drug paraphernalia. •Johnathan J. Pherigo, 20, of 14463 LA 631 in Paradis, was arrested on Aug. 8 and charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell drug paraphernalia, possession and distribution of a pharmaceutical drug, resisting an officer, battery on a police officer and as a fugitive from the Covington Police Department. •Ryan A. Oxford, 23, of 105 Maderia Drive in Avondale, was arrested on Aug. 12 and charged with DWI, speeding, failing to renew registration, reckless operation, possession of drug paraphernalia and as a fugitive from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. •Jeffrey D. Whorton, 28, of 114 St. Paul St. in Destrehan, was arrested on Aug. 10 and charged with DWI. •Timothy Goodman, 47, of 136 Michael St. in Ama, was arrested on Aug. 10 and charged with DWI, reckless operation, suspended driver’s license and a St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office attachment. Thefts•An Xbox, a Nintendo DS, a backpack, a Wii, assorted games, a circular saw and a laptop were stolen from 11618 LA 48 in St. Rose on Aug. 5.  •Four rims and tires were stolen from 101 Delta Drive in St. Rose on Aug. 5. •An air conditioner compressor and a license plate were stolen from Kenner Lane in Montz on Aug. 5.
