River Region Ballet awarded twelve Junior Company Members for their accomplishments in the 2012-2013 season. RRB officials said they hold their dancers in the highest regard and endeavor to enhance their dance technique and performance skills while encouraging discipline and team work.

In winter and spring performances the members danced various roles and participated in community outreach programs by performing at local nursing care facilities.

Guest artists invited to lead workshops for dance education for the dancers included ballerina Jessica Fry McAlister, McTeggart Irish Dancers of Louisiana, and modern dancer and choreographer Lula Elzy.
