DESTREHAN - St. Charles Parish Library invites teens ages 12 to 17 to attend its third annual lock-in at the East Regional Library on Saturday, July 27 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Sunday, July 28.

This year the theme is Superheroes and Villains, inspired by popular movies, comics and graphic novels. The library will be transformed into the mean streets of a metropolis with science labs for creating green slime and ice cream, a costume and foam “weapon” making studio, challenging games, hidden superhero doubloons, a photobooth, LARP tournament and more. Superhero and villain themed movies will be shown and computers will be available for use throughout the event. Pizza and refreshments will be served in the Cowabunga! Café.

The East Regional Library is located at 160 West Campus Drive in Destrehan.
