Alpha Daughters of Zion gives back to the community

BOUTTE - Alpha Daughters of Zion will conduct a one-day “Extraordinary Daughters Empowerment Seminar 2013” on Saturday, July 27 from 9 a.m. -2 p.m. to benefit local women and teens ages 13 and older.

The Extraordinary Daughters Empowerment Seminar 2013 is planned to encourage women and teens to be true to themselves in every area of their lives. The event will feature speakers, a fashion show, massages, body wraps and other activities. Breakfast/lunch will be served.

The seminar is designed with events to help women and teens to maintain a healthy mind, body and soul, build self-esteem and learn to love themselves, recognize signs of abusive behaviors, recognize co-dependency, to learn to pamper themselves, housing and money management skills and much more.
