Fall sports registration deadline
Registration for football, baseball and volleyball is $65 for each child and cheerleading depends on the booster club.
Football is offered to boys ages 5-12 and the birthday cut-off date is Aug. 1.
Volleyball is offered to girls ages 5-14 and the birthday cut-off date is Sept. 1.
Those who would like to register their children can do so through the following organizations: Destrehan Booster Club, Mimosa Booster Club, Luling Booster Club, St. Rose Booster Club, Des Allemands Booster Club, Hahnville Booster Club and Norco Booster Club.

Sheriff orders deputies to strictly enforce curfew for juveniles - 2201 views
Four juveniles were arrested after they apparently slashed tires on vehicles in Luling. St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne said he has ordered deputies to strictly enforce curfew after the incident.
