Norco Elementary K-3 focuses on a different character trait each week. The Students of the Month are chosen by their teachers for exemplifying the character traits within the month that they are honored.

Teachers chose students who exhibited reliability, sportsmanship and loyalty. Students of the month received a special T-shirt as their names were announced. Theywere also awarded a certificate at a breakfast held in their honor.
