Her last Will and Testament provided for the establishment of a scholarship trust fund for students graduating from either Destrehan High School or Hahnville High School and meeting the above three criteria. The scholarship awards $500 per semester up to a maximum of $2500.
Miss Schoeffner touched the lives of hundreds of students and others in meaningful ways and continues to do so through her scholarship. Schoeffner is still touching the lives of local studnts through her scholarship.
