The Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance Program has awarded Hahnville High School with a $500 Grant.

The grant supports educational programs and encourages the next generation to pursue studies in the fields involving math and science. Exxon retailers, like Champion #50 at 14130 Hwy. 90 in Boutte, invest in the future of the communities through educational grants to neighborhood schools.

Nearly five months after 23-year-old Ramal Ellis was found shot to death behind the church where he volunteered his time, officials with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office say suspects have been identified in connection with the murder, though any arrests will have to wait until the evidence is fully processed.
