We can’t let crazies run our lives

Explosions occurring this week at the Boston Marathon lead us to believe that the president of North Korea is not the only crazy person in the world. Everywhere you go there can be tragedy caused by those who have some inexplicable reason to cause it.

Is there some class of people who want us to quit mingling in safety at such fun events as the Boston Marathon? Obviously they are not normal people or else they would be joining in the fun themselves.

So now we have to wonder where the world is headed. Should we recluse ourselves to activities that do not expose ourselves to possible danger?

Maybe we can have all of our fun within the safety of the Internet. But that’s not likely since it takes human companionship in person to let our spirits soar.

We have to prepare our future for a way in which we can do what we want to do so long as it is safe and doesn’t offer opportunities for crazies to try and destroy us. Our Sheriff’s Office encourages the public to be on the lookout for such misdoings every day. The world can only be as safe as the people make it.
