SCB students visit the airport

Students in PK4 and kindergarten at St. Charles Borromeo recently attended the first Airport Education Day at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport with five educational sessions about the aviation industry.

Students were given the opportunity to see the airport rescue and firefighting (ARFF) station, allowed into the EOC, saw a video about how airplanes fly, took a flight on an iPad, made and decorated a balsa wood airplane and received a coloring book from the NOAB.
