The Circle K on Highway 90 in Boutte was robbed early this morning, according to St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Greg Champagne.

At around 1:45 a.m., Champagne said two black males with hoods and ski masks walked into the business and one took out a gun and pointed it at the cashier. The other man acted as a lookout while the clerk was forced to hand over money from the register.

The men then left the building and ran around the back, hopping over the railroad tracks and disappearing into the woods.

One of the men was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and a white ski mask. The other man was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue sweatpants and a white ski mask.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to contact Det. Joseph Dewhirst at (985) 783-1135 or (985) 783-6807.
