J.B. Martin council holds fundraiser for fellow student

Alex’s Angels is an organization set up to help with the medical expenses for Luling resident Alex Oxford, who has a rare brain disease.
Students had the opportunity to participate in jean days at school, while getting the community involved with participation in a 50/50 raffle at a home football games to raise funds. J. B. Martin was proud to present Alex with a donation check of $763 on Jan. 31.
The students and faculty of J.B. Martin said they wish Alex and his family all the best.
