Stargaze with Big Bird at Planetarium
DES ALLEMANDS - The Luling Branch Library is holding a film showing of “One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure.” The story introduces young children to the wonders of stargazing with Big Bird and Elmo as their guide. They will join Elmo and his friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu, on an imaginary trip to the Moon and learn how it differs from our home, the Earth.
The approximate show length is 30 minutes and will begin at 10 a.m. on Jan. 26.
Doors open 15 minutes prior to the scheduled showtime. Due to the unusual lighting conditions in the planetarium, no one is allowed to enter once the show has started.
The Luling Branch Library is located at 105 Lakewood Drive in Luling.
