Beloved wife of the late Louis E, Somme’ Jr. Mother of Catherine Dunlap and husband Scott, Louis E, Somme’ III, Peter J. Somme’ and John David Somme’. Daughter of the late Achille Picard Sr. and Gertrude Keller Picard. Sister of the late Alfred Louis- Picard, William Richard Picard, Achille E. Picard Jr., Irma Picard, Gertrude Granatelli and Bernadine Matherne.

Grandmother of Brent, Kandi, Carson, Scott and Jessie. Great-grandmother of Brent Jr., Braden, Briann, Abigal and Sophia.

A native of Killona and a resident of Des Allemands. She was an active parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was a longtime secretary for Allemands Elementary School.

Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the funeral. A Mass ofChristian Burial was celebrated at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands on Friday, Jan. 18. Private burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers Masses preferred.
