15 Finalists go head-to-head for $500 grand prize

The St. Charles Herald-Guide’s 2012 Camera Shootout photography contest has come to a close, which means that one lucky parish resident is going to win the $500 grand prize.

In the Jan. 4 issue of the St. Charles Herald-Guide, all 12 monthly winners and three editor’s picks from the 2012 Camera Shootout are featured to be voted on one last time by you, our readers.

As a reminder, here are the voting rules:

Online votes at www.heraldguide.com on our photo shootout page are the only votes accepted. Votes phoned in or emailed will not be counted. The only photos eligible for the $500 grand prize are photos that were chosen as monthly winners and our two editor’s picks. Polls close on Monday, Jan. 7 at 5 p.m. and the winner will be announced in the Jan. 10 issue. Photographers can submit original photos for the 2013 competition now.
