2013 contest begins now

Our competition is open to photographers in St. Charles Parish and everyone can join in on the fun.

Submit your scanned or digital photographs for Camera Shootout 2013 online at www.heraldguide.com or submit to kyleb@heraldguide.com.

Every week, Herald-Guide editors will select five photos from all submissions received. These five photos will be published in the Herald-Guide, along with your name, and put to a reader vote online. At the end of each month, our editors will decide on the monthly winner. Our 12 monthly winners will automatically be eligible for the Grand Prize vote - and $500 cash award - when the year’s best 14 photographs are posted for our final reader vote.
